Donaldson Co Inc has entered into a definitive agreement to sell Ultratroc GmbH, a manufacturer of compressed air dryers based in Flensburg, Germany, to IJW Anlagenbau GmbH.

Jan Weiner, who was the Ultratroc plant manager until 2010, is a co-owner of IJW.Donaldson says that Weiner, who has many years of experience in the dryer business, will help ensure a smooth transition for Ultratroc’s current customers, suppliers, employees and the local Flensburg community.Under the terms of the agreement, Donaldson will continue selling Ultratroc’s compressed air dryers and will retain the naming rights to the Donaldson Ultrafilter and Ultrafilter brand names.Source:http://www.filtsep.com/view/34155/donaldson-sells-ultratroc-air-dryer-business/

Machinery Resale, which provides used construction equipment for sale, has purchased three new Atlas Copco XRYS DrillAir silenced compressor units, to provide the drilling market with very high pressure (35 bar), high capacity (35m³/min) portable compressors.

“We already carry a big pool of large standard pressure portable compressors in our yard in Belgium,” said Filip Maes, CEO of Machinery Resale.

“With the recent introduction of new industrial high pressure, high capacity portable Atlas Copco compressors into our fleet, we now have become instantly an outstanding supplier to the drilling market.”

Machinery Resale holds a stock of more than 1000 machines at its facility in Waregem, including second hand compressors, wheel loaders, generators and excavators.
